Nicki Ishmael is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. With a background in punk music, she has been documenting the DIY scene since the early 2000s, and her work now spans across photography, curation, and production. Nicki's photography is known for its vivid, geometric style, capturing both portraits and landscapes with an artistic eye. She co-founded Cloud City, a Brooklyn-based gallery and art space that hosts a diverse range of events, from theater performances to art exhibitions, comedy and variety shows, music shows, film screenings, and the occasional potluck. With her passion for art and community building, Nicki continues to inspire and engage audiences both locally and beyond.
